BLOOMINGTON, MINN. – Country singer/songwriter Julie Roberts will make a special appearance at the Crowne Plaza at Mall of America Saturday, February 9 to raise awareness for ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease as part of a benefit for the Blazeman Foundation.
“Last year I was invited to sing at the Blazeman Foundation fundraiser and I learned so much about the disease,” Roberts said. “I also had the pleasure of meeting some individuals currently living with ALS and was inspired to want to help as much as I can through my music, raising awareness and money for continued research for the disease.”
Tickets for the event are $49 and may be purchased online at http://www.blazemanbenefit.com. Each ticket includes dinner and performances by Roberts, along with the Minnesota-based band Wolves at the Door. All proceeds will go to the Blazeman Foundation for ALS.
“I am excited to come back to Minneapolis this year and do as much as I possibly can for the Blazeman Foundation,” the singer adds. “I hope people can come out, have a nice dinner and listen to some music, all while helping those suffering from ALS.”
