Day 9 – Workout and Diet

Today was a pretty good day!  I worked mainly from home so it was easier to stay on track.  I need to go buy some groceries soon because I’m looking for easier things to eat instead of cooking. For example, I’ve eaten lots of tuna lately which is very easy. All I have to do is open the pack and add mustard, salt, and pepper!  I love tuna, but I need some variety in my diet!! I eat omelets almost every day but I don’t get tired of those.  I just mix those up with different veggies!  I also need to increase my water intake.  I don’t feel hydrated and water is so important!

Day 9

8am – Wake up

830am – coffee with unsweetened almond milk & stevia, 1 slice of Ezekiel bread & an omelet made with 1/2 Tbsp of EVOO, 6 Tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers, 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg

1230pm – 20 minute interval workout at home (I did 30 second intervals of high knees and jumping rope for 20 minutes. )

1:30pm – 1 pack of Albacore tuna mixed with mustard, salt, pepper. 1/2 cup quinoa, 1 cup steamed broccoli, 2 Tbsp hummus

 

Lunch- (Doesn't look good, but it actually was great!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4pm – 4 Tbsp hummus, 2 sliced tomatos, 3 Tbsp almond butter

530pm – Crossfit Class

7pm – 2 Tbsp hummus, 1 tomato, 2 Tbsp almond butter

 

Dinner (almond butter not pictured)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m still leaning too much on the almond butter I think.  I LOVE it and it’s a easy source of fat and provides a little protein.  I have to figure out something to substitute for it.
