Today I did much better at getting close to reaching my calorie goal. I felt pretty hungry throughout the day so it was pretty easy to eat!! My muscles were not as sore today either so I hit the ground running again with my workouts! Taking that break yesterday was exactly what I needed to do.
Looking back over my day I still feel like I am going overboard with the almond butter. It’s so easy to eat it on the go so I think that’s why I’m still turning to that. On this last week of my challenge, I will work on finding another food (good fat source) option to add into my diet.
Here’s how my day went:
6:00am- Wake Up
6:30am- walk 2.5 mile trail
7:15am- 1 gala apple, 1 pack of Justin’s almond butter
8:00am- crossfit class
9:45am- coffee w/unsweetened almond milk & stevia, Omelet made with 1/2 Tbsp of EVOO, 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, 2 cups of spinach, almond butter
1:15pm- shrimp, green beans, 2 Tbsp of hummus (shrimp & green brand were sautéed in 1/2 Tbsp EVOO, garlic powder, sea salt, pepper)
3:00pm- 1 pack Justin’s Almond Butter
5:00pm- run 2.5 miles
7:00pm- (Don’t have food in house so I turn again to almond butter-2 Tbsp)
8:45pm- Applegate organic turkey burger, 1 Garden Lite Roasted Vegetable Souffle’, 14 Almonds
10:30-11pm- Good Night!!!
